I had to look up what the pedal on the top right was...a Pete Cornish NBM-2. Looks like it is a solo boost.

And of course he has a Centaur.....

I've always loved the tone he and Glen get both studio and live. Apparently he is a bit of a pedal geek.
 
Nice! I know the records always had great guitar sounds. I saw them open for Counting Crows several years ago and he sounded great then too.
