P-90s....a well kept secret in the guitar world!

from my experiencemost p90's sound real good. I really can't hear much of a difference between the gibson and seymour duncans. I think a p90 can make any chunk of wood sound good. Here is a video last friday with me playing my dan dunham tele through my funky tweed clone. I like how I can play at any volume and I can get a good tone. For me that was always the go to pickup no secret in the blues world.

I've been jamming with that for the last 15 minutes or so. I've gotta get up there the next time you're playing with James I think.

One of my favorite guitars is my 1998 Epi LP Junior, bought used for under 50 bucks about five years ago. This thing makes me smile every time I plug it in and make it roar. It's without a doubt the best bang for the buck guitar I have.

It's a shame they don't make 'em with P-90s anymore, because these are serious asskickers.

I have the same guitar. I agree, the best bang for buck guitar I own.

^^I think I may grab one of those Epi's to cure my want for something with P90s.

In my case, it satisfied my own want for a guitar with a P-90, but it also made me want another one.

Which was this one. It's pretty good, but the Epi is way more fun to play, and it sounds meaner, too.
