On the road!

Lotta newer jags around lately, especially verts. They don't really do much for me

Me either, the older Jaguars had presence. They might not have ran for more than five minutes at a time, but they were beautiful and they were undoubtably a Jag when you saw them. The new ones styling is so bland they might as well be Lexuses.

no kidding.......give me an Aston every time

which one.....or could you tell?

it would be very cool to know that there's a V12 Vanquish in the area......talk about a car.....screw the italians.....the Vanquish is the ultimate.

No I couldnt tell. He was going south and I was going north. It was black with blacked out windows and thats really all I could tell.

we've been seeing some awfully expensive cars around the area lately......i wonder where the $$ is coming from, cuz i'm not making anymore $$.

Same here... There's always been a slew of higher end BMW and Mercs on the roads but I'm seeing more interesting hardware in areas you wouldn't expect to see it.

In Chicago yesterday I saw a Porsche Panera or whatever they're called.

Also an old Rolls Royce in pearl white. Similar to this:

And an Audi A8 that was in a wreck, backing up traffic on the Von Ryan Expressway for 2 hours :(

I decided to take the back highway home instead of the interstate, and passed this old filling station in Cassopolis, MI. Complete with an old police car out front. I didn't notice the other old car.

It was 2:embarrassed:0 in the morning, I didn't stop to take a pic.

One of my neighbors has an e30, current darling of the online enthusiast discussions. Never drive one.... Wonder if I can bum a spin.

Too funny. I drove through Chicago last night too. I got home around 3:30 am last night.

This guy merged along side me on the interstate... I slowed down and let him go by to get the pics. At first I thought it may be my wife's first car; she had a Bonneville, same year and color. As I got closer I could see it was a Catalina. Nice stance, perfect choice of tires/wheels for that era. He didn't hold back on her either, he was drivin' that thang

The plates are VA antique car

What a beauty! The lines, oh, the lines...

Now that's a rare car in Germany.

I was reading some Ford magazine at the dealer the other day. They took a new Shelby GT500 to Germany, how people used to seeing and driving BMW's & Mercedes just coming up to the car drooling :)

American soldiers own quite a few high end Mustangs and Shelbys on post around here. But yeah, take one up north and you'd probably get swarmed by folks that never seen one.

spent the last few days driving around in the FIL's rs convertible. Man, this thing attracts major attention from anyone 50 and over but is largely ignored by the majority of the younger population.

Nice cruising around town car and a very nice convertible with minimal turbulence in the cabin with the top down. Handles and rides decently but it's rather slow with vexing power delivery and vague/disconnected steering feel. Almost as much fun as putting around town in the prowler.

That is kind of what I expected. MY parents love that car. I don't dislike it, although I think the interior is atrocious, and the tail lights, don't get me started on the tail lights.
