Official Pragestock 2010 Thread - July 31 - August 1

I'm bringing home made turtle soup. Its awesome, you eat it right out of the shell. (Does anyone know how to fillet a turtle)?

Actually I might just smoke a brisket this year. Eggs and bacon was hard to cook for the small batch of guys last year. This year would be insane.

Yeah, we went through a bit of alcohol last time. :embarrassed:

Nothing felt so lonely as waking up on Sunday and having to wait until 1:embarrassed:0 to buy more beer. And then finding the beer cave had nearly been picked dry.

Yeah, i'll be there Thursday, we can really stock up properly this time. Hopefully avoid having to reload mid-weekend.

I think we drank at least 3 cases of Yuengling last time. I know I bought at least 1 case and Chihli brought at least 1 case. I may have had 2 cases...I can't remember.

I just know that we thought we had stocked up pretty good on Friday, and by Saturday night, the fridge was barren. That's not even taking into account how many of the locals showed up with their own beer.

It was truely a magnificent undertaking.

I'll be bringing the Buffalo Trace again - there always needs to be good bourbon present...

It was pretty amazing. I wish i had counted before hand, cause we had a bunch of other stuff too, different brands we had picked up besides the yeungling. And yeah, lots more stuff showed up, i think tele brought a twelver or something.

And Lino, Jimmy and Mark brought beer too.

And Jeff, and those people that I didn't really know walked in with a case as well. :embarrassed:

Well - there was that last 12 pack of Yeungling....but that didn't end well...

"So, y'all ever heerd of JC Whitney? They got everything."

I'll be there Thursday as well, so I'll assist in the beer prep. This way on Sunday night we won't be stuck with only a case of Bud Light and a quart of Buffalo Trace for three thirsty guys....

Can we bring beer in our luggage? A case of Fat Tire in cans should ship nicely, but I don't know the "rules" about that....

I've never tried to fly with alcohol. I don't know if it's legal or not. It would definitely have to be checked, unless you're only bringing 3 oz. or less. :embarrassed:

I fly with booze all the time. There's no problem unless you are going through customs. You do have to check it, though.

Flying with alcohol is no problem, within reason, I just needs to be checked and properly packaged to avoid breakage.

Its easier to fly with money and stop by the store once you are there. :embarrassed:

After the first couple, it really doesnt matter what it is anyway.

This is going to be unbelievable. Seriously. Howie and Myz need to drag Strings with them IMO.

I would love to try to come, but I don't see me getting 4 days off in the middle of our busy season, let alone flight money :embarrassed:
