Question: Official Music League Thread

I will go ahead and say that my submission will be mostly one chord. Or at least different voicings of a chord.
 
So one of the other Leagues that I joined is called "Buddy Can You Spare A Song?" and the current topic is "Songs that tell a Story".....




..... so obviously my choice was Rupert Holmes.

I can only think of two off the top of my head... submitting the one I think is the stronger of those two...

... scratch that... there's a third... Oooh shit. I know they say to go with the first song you think of, but oh the second one I thought of..... :baimun:
 
I had one I thought was one chord....but checking online everyone had at least two...some way more than two.
 
Mine definitely has more than one "chord" but the entire thing is kind of a drone around the same basic chord so...

...maybe I get no votes?

I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to pick for this one

Yeah. I’m at a song with two voicings of the same chord.

It was fourth pick because I was late to get my choices in. Because it’s a less obvious choice and if people vote for the quality of the song rather than the “on-the-nosedness” to the theme, it might work in my favour.

edit: maybe “quality” is the wrong term. Is “hookiness” a word?

Well this is some bullshit. I went to submit a song and it said it was taken. I submitted another song and see that the first one I chose isn't in the playlist and I'M THE LAST ONE TO SUBMIT!!!!!!!!

Similar for me.

I think maybe some went back and changed their submission.

None of my first three picks are on the list.

I hope it wasn't me that fucked you up.... I had "Chain of Fools" submitted for.... 3, maybe 4, minutes.... That and "Get Up Stand Up" were the only two to come to mind.

I generally post a song right away... waffle over it for 5 minutes.... submit a second choice... and then waffle over "go with your first choice or go with the 'smarter' choice"... but generally the second has kicked me in the ass every time. :embarrassed:

But that's just it, I was the last person to submit my song so no one could have changed theirs in the time it took me to switch to a different song. I had both links on my clipboard and pasted the second right after I got the "Great minds think alike" message on the first one. Doesn't it close out right when the last person submits?

I was prob the third person to submit a song on the first day.
