Official 2012 football thread

Good game so far. Would be typical Cowboys to take down undefeated Falcons a week after blowing a chance to sweep the Giants.

Unless they include a quaterback with confidence, receivers who can catch, running backs who can run, and defenders who can tackle they won't help much...
 
Bears, 7 and 1! The schedule gets a lot harder now, though. We'll see how good we really are. Chargers won on Thursday, which makes my wife happy. And when my wife's happy...
 
I can't wait for the annual Broncos melt down and subsequent collapse.

I'm willing to eat a little bit if crow and admit that I am shocked by how well Payton has played so far.

But I'm still not convinced that he can maintain it, or that he's not but one big hit from a career ending injury. Ill give him credit for his toughness so far, but he is permanently fr***** and sooner or later some big DE or LB is going to get a clear shot at him.

If/when he goes down, they are screwed. They put all of their eggs in that basket. I despise Tim Tebow, but at least he would have given them a semi-viable back up.

Plus, with each game, they expose how completely one dimensional they are. They have turned to an all out passing attack out of desperation due to falling behind in nearly every game. Teams now know what the broncos are going to do, and will plan accordingly.
 
See? I missed 8 grand by one game. :embarrassed:
