NPD - Sonicake Super Sonic Master Boost Mini Pedal

Gorgon90

Harmonic Dive Bomber
This is my first ever clean boost pedal. Saw it on Amazon, it went on sale for £19.99 and I bit the bullet last weekend but didn't get a chance to try it out until today. Also set it up to be powered by a cheap 5000mah power bank via the Joyo ZGP-W adapter I've had for a while now but not used.

Solid metal construction so I have no worries that this thing will take my size 11s stomping on it without an issue. 1 knob giving 0 to 12db of boost, seems to be a big boost at the roughly 4db I've got it set at, and as at the end of the chain not adding any extra noise either. 1 switch to enable/disable the buffer. Left it switched on but not sure it makes a difference with the limited amount of kit and cables in use here.

This is effectively a fly rig that can do what my favourite amp does. Clean, crunch and filth sounds that can now all be played at rhythm or lead volumes, all based on battery power.

Is the power supply for the tuner for the Katana too?

It could be, but at the moment I bought a D'addario Planet Waves Clip On Tuner that is living in the back of the Katana. The power bank and the Joyo definitely are an option though to avoid another wall wart.

About 5 bucks on Amazon and much easier than unplugging that power Bank all the time. Works like a charm for me hanging off the side of my cab.

That's an interesting bit of kit. The setup I pictured was just plugged in for testing but if I was putting something more permanent together that switch could be useful.
