Now which one to buy?

avuncular to no one
So I was looking at a Squier Vintage Modified Tele Special or Jazzmaster (hardtail), but then my wife was all like save up and get the one you want. As such, I'm not torn between these:

or this:

The former is just about my ideal electric (barring truer Tele lines) and the latter I've desired since it's introduction.

They both around thee same price, so financially it's a wash. Obviously I want them both and a Montreal Premiere (Thanks Howie!), but that ain't happening for ages if ever. I missed out on the Tele Plus Deluxe with a trem (as I've mentioned in other threads) and am a little afraid that if I don't hop on the Session Custom they'll discontinue it and then the new Jonny Greenwood will drive up the used prices to unreasonable levels (it could happen), but I've been wanting the A6 Ultra for years...

I hate making decisions and having limited disposable income. I blame my parents for not being rich.

I dig the top one. :)

Me too, but I also dig the bottom one. I'm just glad I don't actually have a the money for both or I'd actually be looking at the Godin Montreal Premiere too. I'm pretty sure I'd go for quantity though, given the quality. I've have some time to save up and really figure it out. Hopefully I'll be able to get some quality time with both (several sessions with each one) before making a decision.

I did a lot of research on the A6 when Hello Music was blowing them out. I really like the concept a lot but what I found were a lot of meh reviews and owners who were less than blown away. I'd still like to try one in person but based on the reports I don't think I'd be willing to buy one with getting my hands on one first.

My number one solidbody is a Tele with a neck humbucker. The only thing I miss on it is a trem.

While a neck humbucker/piezo bridge solidbody seems like a cool idea, I'm not sure how useful the sounds are together in practice. You're talking about one guitar that requires two different approaches to amplification -- a guitar amp and a full-range acoustic amp.

I'm oddly gassing for the Montreal Premiere as well. I've not been a fan of semihollows before and I've never played one, so I can't explain why it appeals to me other than it's such a simple, clean, and classy looking guitar.

The telesque one. It looks like a great usable setup. The other one is cool, but...I dunno, it's off. It's trying too hard.

I like the tele-ish one a lot. I like Godins a lot -- it's just that (after having and selling two) I haven't found the one I LOVE yet...

Any one else have any thoughts?

I'm tempted to look at acoustics in the same price range. I'm a hugely indecisive schnook.
