Achtung! Now this hurricane looks to go right over Tig’s house!

Now this hurricane looks to go right over Bob’s house!

Or, close. Champaign, 75 miles south of me might get 5 inches. Here, probably 2 or, 3.

We’re getting weather statements up here saying that we’ll see some heavy rain from the remnants of this storm.

The current forecast has radar showing that it won’t really get here, but run more northerly - straight up over Chicago and reach eastward to maybe Detroit.

Well, the radar forecast was wrong, but the meteorologists got it right.

We’re getting rain.
We’re just on the edge of the system though. So, not as much as those right in the path.
It’s really just a rainy day here.

How’s everyone doing?

we got rain over night, and some more today, but nothing that we haven't been getting since april.
the wind is about the same as it always is around here. 10-20. year 'round.
SO WHAT !!!

They re-forcast the entire season. I'm not sure I've ever seen that in all my 48 years dealing with Florida.
Florida now has a 29% chance of a major hurricane making landfall this season. Second place is Lousiana at like 17% and everywhere else is 4% or around there. Lovely!

There is no feeling quite like it, when you hear that "thunk" and lights and things start coming on.
I'm just listening for the AC to kick on when the power is out. I could figure out how to live without just about everything else. I hate being hot or even mildly warm unless it's cold out or I'm under a bunch of blankets on purpose. Yes, I live in Florida, not by choice.
