If this would’ve been dusk, yes. We were off the water by noon. I didn’t even use spray today and didn’t get one bite.

Lots and lots. I counted 8 swamp puppies today. You could hear mammas on their nest. Don’t want to get to close to them.

I’ve only ever paddled around lake ponchatrain which is more of a north shore kind of thing.

There were people fishing but I didn’t see anybody catching anything. I’m guessing it’s ok because there were people out there trying.

not even close...a swamp is a swamp is a swamp....deserts are probably the most varied and diverse ecosystem with deserts of frozen tundra to the lush sonoran style to the sand plains of sahara or even the great plains of Mericuh

Birds know deboo. They travel all over the world and spend a lot of time in swamps and don’t go to deserts, because swamps beat desert.
