Should have given more thought to what I put on this morning. Shorts and golf shirt are not adequate. Apparently this part of the world hasn't gotten the word that it is FREAKIN AUGUST fer cryin out loud.

Northern California is gorgeous. I'm especially fond of the hilly area between SF and Napa. Also, you know, Yosemite.

Santa Barbara has a huge appeal to me.
Same thing though ,cost.

when I went through N. California years ago on a solo road trip I specifically stayed in Weed (I coulda kept driving but It was close enough where i was gonna call it a day and I think the next town was miles away) just so i could say i stayed in Weed. Stayed at the Motel 6 coming off the highway
