the dumbasses should have made the pickup pole pieces flat black and the toggle switch nut/washer, same for the output jack.

I really like the SG. The Tribute series removes a gratifying amount of superfluous blingy nonsense. They should really have gone with Flamencological none-more-black fretboard inlays (i.e., none, which is plenty), but even so, I would be glad to rock this machine, and by Gibson standards they are not even particularly stupidly priced.

(Full disclaimer: I'm still not about to drop 1k$ on a guitar, but if I was, this would be high on the list of candidates, but I'm not.)
