No Wonder The Coyote Had So Much Trouble….

Roadrunners are very common where I live and I see them daily. They're amazing creatures and they do not give one single solitary f#$k. They're not intimidated by anything, people included. They'll pick a high spot on the wall around my house or up on the roof, and they hunt lizards and anything else that looks like lunch.

The 6 rules of Roadrunner:
  • No Catching: The Coyote can never catch or eat the Road Runner.
  • No Dialogue: The only sound allowed is the Road Runner's "Beep Beep."
  • Acme Products: All tools must be sourced from the Acme Corporation.
  • Self-Inflicted Harm: Only Acme failures or the Coyote's own mistakes can harm him; the Road Runner may only cause harm via his catchphrase.
  • Setting & Gravity: Action is restricted to the desert, with the Road Runner staying on the road, while gravity serves as the primary antagonist.
  • Tone: The Coyote is never seriously hurt, only humiliated, keeping audience sympathy squarely with him.

Ive seen a road runner whipping a rat to and fro against the pavement. They are the ninja warrior of birds.
Here's one in front of the shop.
