I have one as well @jrockbridge. I replaced the pickups in mine to p90 made by Rio Grande and changed the pots to 500K. It made such a difference and the pots took off the over edgy growl that the original pickups had. The pot tip came from Doug Kauer. As for the PU's, a store in Hawaii was selling them on consignment really cheap and I was planning to use them in another guitar but later bought the Gibby 50's Tribute.I have a white Gibson 50's Tribute LP with P90's. The pickup covers and pickguard are black. I'll gladly trade my Gibson for your Tokai.
I love the fact that mine weighs 7.65 lbs. I actually like the stock P90's although I'm sure upgrades would improve the sound. But, I wish it was a gold top. I love the look of a Gold Top LP with Cream covered P90's.HNGD @micwalt!!!

I guess that I am the lucky one as well. However the Tokai has the binding which is awesome!!!I love the fact that mine weighs 7.65 lbs.
