I went with the Fender CuNiFe. I’ve listened to a ton of demo and comparison videos and I felt most comfortable starting there even though they are pretty expensive.

I know you posted that comparison of the pickups done by somebody else but I'd love to see a before-and-after from you.

Also, out of curiosity, if the neck on yours worn nitro like the neck on my '60s RW Strat? Has it dirtied up at all?

It does have worn nitro. I don’t think it’s dirtied up very much that I’ve noticed.

It's amazing how hard this pickups are to get. There were a ton of the bridge pickup on Amazon but the neck is backordered everywhere including Fender. I finally found one at Chicago Music Exchange today. CME to the rescue as usual.

So remember how I had to order a neck pickup from CMI because Amazon didn't have any? I just took a look at the one they sent me tonight and it turns out that they sent me a neck pickup, too. At least my neck pickup from CMI showed up tonight, too

I suppose its a good thing that I don't have time to work on this right now.

Since everything the last year has gone to crazy stupid prices since everything is out of stock, instead of sending it back, sell it on reverb. End up essentially getting both pickups for free.
