Shit, that is worse than the recent Fender relic guitar I bought. It isn’t visible from the front, so it wouldn’t really bother me, but I agree a seller should disclose that kind of issue.

I guess it's possible before he packed it up, a kid took Dad's guitar out of the case, dropped it, didn't confess, and they guy didn't see it. Or he had it "professionally packaged" at the UPS store and some idiot there took it out and played with it.
