I was kind of annoyed that all the sources of the above pic have The Moon off centre. Then I learned that the 3 bright dots to the bottom right 'leading away' from the The Moon are Saturn, Mars and Mercury. Incredible.

I think this joins the original Earthrise and The Pale Blue Dot at the 3 greatest photos in history.

To quote one of the astronauts "we just went sci-fi".

We just got to see the Artemis photos projected onto the dome at the planetarium at the end of the weekly astronomy lecture. With explanation by one of the Lucy mission boffins. I need to convince them to show the Artemis IV launch live with the stereo cranked and the fog and lasers running.
 
Here's my Yelp review of the Artemis mission: Everything was flawless from launch to splashdown with an incredible amount of data collected and some amazing images shared. Things went a bit south after splashdown. There was a lot of miscommunication between Houston, the naval crew and the astronauts. The capsule buoyancy system and front porch deployments were clunky at cumbersome. And please explain to me how hoisting the astronauts from the relative safety of the front porch, onto a chopper, and landing the chopper on the deck of the tender ship is less risky than just boarding the boat that is already right there? :shrug:
