Am a big fan of the late Sean Malone and Steve DiGeorgio so got a fretless 5-stringer. Was a bit getting used to, but love the musicality of fretless. Took me a while to figure out that you play on the fretmarker positions, not in between
Sounds great to me, has an active EQ that is very useful. I only play for recording so I use Logic Pro X with Bogren Bassknob. Recorded it sounds huge.
