It's here. I jumped the gun instead of doing my live unboxing I figured that I would try and get the stuff setup and livestream tomorrow. I'm just running through the presets and there are a few I love off the bat like the JMP45.and the 65 bassman,

Using the FM3-Edit app. I haven;'t touched a knob or button the the device yet other than to turn it on.

Awesome. I think these things are built for someone like you, super picky on sound and needing a million of them. Taking the time to get all the patches setup will probably take some time, but for your live gigs, I bet it's worth it.

I'm pretty excited about what I'm getting just from the stock presets. I'm also having a little option shock because there is so much to work with. It'll be a long time before I gig with this but I'm already using if for a Zoom lesson and the student told me it sounds fucking great on their end.

That is what always keeps me away from these things. I got overwhelmed by the stupid TC Electronic editor on their pedals, I can't imagine having that much control over everything

Usually with stuff like this I learn just enough to use it for my purposes and the rest is shrouded in mystery. :embarrassed:

I'll probably be on live around 9 or 10am tomorrow playing around with this thing. I'll post a link.

After yesterday I am seriously considering selling my Suhr Badger 30 and putting this thing on my big pedalboard with the Boss ES-8 as a midi controller, getting rid of the majority of my pedals and getting an FRFR cab for stage.

Most of my pedals are drive pedals that I use to get different amp sounds. The FM3 does all of that stuff better. The effects in the FM3 also seem to be pretty good. @Poparad uses his with an external midi box (Morningstar IRC) and a few pedals to offload the processing in the FM3 for more complex sounds. I could do most of what I need with the FM3 and possibly the H9. Of my two amps, I love the Deluxe with the Suhr extension cab and the small pedalboard and I've been over the Badger for a few years but didn't think trying for new amps was worth the time.

Something to think about. I'm pretty sure I'm selling the Suhr regardless, though. After much experimenting with both of my amps I'd rather just play the Kevin Nelson-modded Deluxe.
