I’ve had my fill of 5 door practical boxes. Looking forward to enjoying rowing through the gears, making every trip to the grocery store a fun adventure, and when the midwest weather is cooperative enough, dropping the top and soaking in the full journey.

May I present my 1 of 100 Limited Edition Anniversary MX-5 Roadster… aka “Miata”. I had been considering a well worn Porsche Boxster but maintenance costs were a major concern. During my research I discovered that the most recent years of MX-5 got a 30 horsepower boost and can accelerate to 60 in 5.7 seconds. Not as fast as a 100K Sportscar or even a Tesla, but definitely spirited gear rowing!

Limited slip differential and Apple Carplay were two must haves and this does not disappoint.:baimun:

Congratulations and enjoy!
I got rid of my convertible last year.
It just wasn't conducive to northern New England roads (potholes).
I will miss it, though.
Nothing wrong with a midlife crisis mobile.

That’s a beautiful car!

That’s a beauty!

Stay WELL out in front of transport trucks or not in front at all.
The ones without the cab over design can’t see well enough over their noses to know you’re there.

Not trying to harsh your buzz. Just be safe in that specific way amongst all the other ways.

My colleague got rear ended in his Miata last week and that’s the first thing I thought of when I saw this post.

I'm already tweaking my defensive driving as if I'm in a motorcycle. :helper:

Congrats.

If I had the garage space, I'd get another miata in a heartbeat. It was such a great car. IYKYK
