MWGL Photography thread II ( Continued)

Being in the business, Promaster is a after market company that sells accessories and such branded in their name. They are a buying company and a store has to be a Promaster member. I worked for a store that was a Promaster store and we had everything from cameras, lens, flashes, lighting, tripods, etc with the Promaster label on it. Back then it was pre Chinese manufacturing. I do remember that their lenses were made by Sigma, Tokina, and Tamron. Now they probably have Chinese factories making product to their own spec.

Nothing special but my d810 came with a little kit nifty 50 that I thought was long gone. Clearing a lot of old shit out of my DJ gear cupboard and what do I find!!!

Going to get out with it and have a bit of fun over the winter.

does it work??
No in fact I took a similar picture back in spring of 2014 and it wasn't working then. The best part is thatr it's in the middle of nowhere. There are a few ranches, etc around it and it was probably the community phone at one time.It is right about where it says Reddington on the map below.... The closest town would be San Manuel which is 19 miles from it...Tucson is about 23 and Benson is about 30. Take a look at the photos for reddington in the map link because that's the general lay of the land. The 24 miles to Tucson takes about 50 minutres because it's a bumpy dirt road over the moutain pass

*edit* here is a pic from the Google maps to get a feel for the area...the phone is after you come down from Reddington pass so it's not as wide open as here but shortly after leaving the phone this is the general view
