Same here. I tend to avoid this, as it was the Wagon Wheel of the time, but the NGDB version is the one I like best.

This I guy I used to work with and occasionally jam with is really good friends with Todd. I don't remember how he knows him, but in his music room he a bunch of pics of him just hanging with Todd, a couple of them just jamming. I don’t mind Chet Atkins’s cover too much, mainly because it’s a solo instrumental.

That album was truly ground-breaking. At that time the divide between rock and country music was wide. Country rock was a thing, but NGDB reached out to a lot of country music greats to collaborate. There are some wonderful stories about the recording of that album.

I loved it when I first heard it; I hated it when everyone played it at open mics. Now I can tolerate it if rarely heard.
