I don't know that it makes much difference that euros moved into a place and are the food in one case and moved the food in the other. What's so tough about it: Tortillas, beans, chiles, etc. were eaten by native Americans long before the arrival of white people to what is now the US and are thus an indigenous cuisine. Curries were not eaten in the UK prior to being imported from India during the days of the Raj. That wasn't so tough, was it?

I need to try a local fusion place, Cowboys and Indians Tex-Indian Kitchen.Sometimes I think about starting a restaurant that serves burritos with Indian food inside. Both cultures use lots of cumin and coriander so it makes sense, right?
