More than anything I think it's very much a case of what we like to call over here an "emergency rhyme". Doesn't matter what it means, as long as it rhymes. That's bad enough, but when it's also grammatically incorrect in addition to making absolutely no sense...

but....BNL's Big Bang song. the song is supposed to be a chronology of events of man from the actual big bang to present.....but it's out of order.

so the pyramids should have come first in the lyrics....then the wall. but it would sound/flow right.....

... but given the great lyrics he has on albums like Sign of the Times, it always kinda irks me when we're doing "Let's Go Crazy" and I have to sing....
