That explains it. I ate Trix as a kid, the 70-80. I don't think I ever ate it in the 90s and got it a handful of times when the kids were younger, probably 2010 or so. I missed it.

It was just the one year.
They probably figured out rather quickly that the shapes weren't worth the time and money to create.
