i think it goes both ways.
if a lobbyist wants a law passed that advantages the lobbyist, then what i posted is correct.
but if the politician wants money for his campaign, then it's the other way 'round (as you posted)
basically, washington dc is a suck fest.

Fair enough. The whole situation of corporate interest money directly influencing/even writing legislation -- often to the detriment of the general public -- fucking blows.
