Edit: upon further review, it's definitely 'shopped. Check the reflection in the sunglasses. Looks like he was on the ground when this was taken.

I think your answer lies in the reflection in his sun glasses or the fact that they are still on his head. His neck tie and hair don't look as "wind swept" as they would at that speed.

Still a cool picture.

certainly shopped. one of those planes won't stay in the air at much below 120+ and his tie would be doing a lot more than that at 120 mph.
in fact, he wouldn't HAVE any sunglasses at that point.

and the risk of his glasses flying off and causing F.O.D. would not be acceptable to any professional pilot.

and, since he's flying in the right seat.....the captain would be saying "hey....get the fuck back in here!!"

and, unless he's using some kind of super compact camera....i don't think the shutter speed would completely stop the intake fan on the engine.
