It's definitely not true these days. In fact, it's my understanding that most real feminists consider that view to be just as damaging as demeaning women.

back when i was a construction manager on the ohio turnpike, we had a dump truck driver (the BIG dump trucks) forget his bed was UP......and went smokin' off after dumping his load of stone.....and right under a bridge......where the dump bed was RIPPED off the truck......and damaged 5 of the bridge beams.

never saw him on the job site again.
