Except now cruises are floating hantavirus inoculation zones. You can't even float out to sea on an ice floe to die what with global warming.

Yeah, I've seen multiple stories on that. Seniors sell their home, take the money and book year long cruises...basically just living on the cruise ship. I don't think I could do that. I like being at home and the local surroundings. :shrug:

The movies were a ploy to sell merchandise. Once Lucas realized he had a gold mine selling toys to kids, his perspective was tainted.

We can’t have Han Solo shooting Greedo first. Only scoundrels shoot first. That’s not kid friendly. I know what to do. I’ll edit the film to have Greedo, a bounty hunter, shoot first, and miss from point blank range. Solo will be upgraded to a perfect good guy, and parents will buy their kids Han action figures.

George mostly ruined the franchise with Ewoks, Jar Jar Binks, and the prequels. Disney put the final nails in the coffin.

Not trying to put down Star Wars, I just haven't liked any of the movies after the first one, if someone else enjoys them, I'm happy for them. So, please understand when I say Jar Jar Binks was the best part of any Star Wars movie after the first one, I'm just being honest.

Jar Jar Binks was based on racist tropes. I don’t think it was done intentionally, yet it’s there. It’s a shame because I don’t think George is consciously a racist, yet I think unconscious racism does happen. Everyone around him at the time must have been yes men, afraid to tell him that Jar Jar Binks was a bad look.

P.S. It’s ok that you like the character. It’s also ok that you only like the first movie.
