I once went to a shyster dentist that told me I needed $3k in dental work. I demanded that he send me a copy of the x-rays. I went to another dentist for a second opinion. She told me everything looked fine. I keep my teeth in very good condition. I'm a stickler for that. I think the first dentist wanted a down payment for a new boat. Now I always demand copies of the x-rays.
