I recently saw a clip of John Fogerty singing Bad Moon Rising where he actually sang "there's a bathroom on the right." I didn't think he had that much of a sense of humor.

When I first heard Purple Haze I thought the line was "excuse me while I kiss this guy".
I found out that I wasn't the only one when I saw a "10 most misheard lyrics of all time" sort of video on Youtube and there was a clip there of Hendrix singing that line.
