Justice League movie...

Pain and Gain was pretty good for a Michael Bay movie.

Went to see it with my nephew when it was released. I don’t often have the “when the hell will this be over?” sensation in the theatre, but that was one such case.

Others would include one of the Transformers movies, Batman vs Superman, The Rise of Skywalker, and the more recent National Theatre production of Amadeus.

I liked whatshisname as Batman
I liked gourgeouswhatshernameas Wonder Woman
I think whatshisname is brilliant as Superman
I also enjoyed the movie but yes, something was missing.

Those actors are all good as those superheroes, as is Jason Momoa.

The fault is Zack Snyder.

Shazam was a fun for the family film. Robert Pattinson's Batman looks promising, and I have a good feeling about James Gunn's Suicide Squad.

I do feel that Affleck was a hardcore miscast. That’s a lesson that ought to have been learned from Daredevil. And I’m unsure whether Jeremey Irons worked as Alfred, or whether it was simply the terrible writing.

But I am in full agreement otherwise.

I think the best DC live action properties at the moment are Doom Patrol and Star Girl.
