This was a very good guitar before...now it's amazing!

This one has taught me that even though the Warmoth necks are pretty good out of the box they do need a fret leveling straight away...it plays like an absolute dream now...

The 5 way super switch adds a lot of options to a 2 pickup combination...the JB at the bridge is great in both humbucker and single coil mode, but the Cool Rails at the neck loses quite a bit of output in single coil mode...sounds good, mind you, just not as loud...in humbucker mode the Cool Rails is a killer neck pickup...the middle postion with both running in single coil mode is full and rich...

This one is also cased up and ready for Barn Storm...

Full size body, 24.75" conversion neck, ultra thin wizard profile, rosewood board...it earned the nickname "skinny"...

bummer. I have 2 7/8 teles and wanted to try out a 7/8 strat. I thought yours was regular with the conversion neck.

Yeah, no, this thing is a full size strat that's easier to play...the nut is 1-11/16" as well, unlike the 7/8 necks which are 1-5/8"...

If I didn't already have too many guitars I would think about a 7/8 strat in hard tail with 2 single coils, kinda like a Lead2...but no way in hell is that gonna happen...

Nice work Jello!! Heel's build looks killer!! I love the worn finish and the p90's.
I like that wizard neck on yours. Many people don't like that thin, wide neck but I find it pretty comfy actually.
I'll bet that Duncan pickup ( can't remember what it is called) that is half p90 and has a rail type pickup on the other bobbin would be spectacular in the neck on your guitar. Especially with the super switch....the wiring possibilities are ridiculous.

You can get the 7/8 neck with 1-11/16” nut :embarrassed:

Get shopping

I thought about the P-Rail for it, but opted to go this route...if I didn't already have the P90 in the neck position of my Telestrat I may have gone that way...

I'm starting to think about re-doing my Regal before Barn Storm...I have a wiring kit for the Jimmy Page wiring mod on hand for it, and I could do the same service I did to these two...fret level and rewiring...before next Thursday...

I must be out of my mind...:embarrassed:

Probably not enough time for a dual pickup 7/8 strat :embarrassed:

Changed my mind...not gonna bother, not enough time to do the job properly...
