I've just booked my first solo art show

Gary Blanchard

beloved, local musician
There is a neat coffee shop near me that reminds me of the hip coffee shops in Baltimore during the 1980s. Wonderful quiche, espresso, and jazz playing in the background. We have been going there once a week lately.

Just like those coffee shops of the past, they have art by local artists on display. Today I decided to inquire about showing my paintings. I have been booked for July. I am looking forward to it. It gives me time to do more paintings so I can choose my best for the show.

Since playing guitar is getting difficult, I am happy to have a different way to express myself.

If I had someone to book the guests I would love to do the show. The logistics were just too much stress. I miss doing them
I assumed he was joking about you having a TV show.
I'm going to see one of my favorite artists in a few weeks. 71 year old Uli Roth. Poor guy lost a kidney last year. Anyhow, he's planning on a three hour show, and will be showcasing his oil paintings during the show.

I tagged you in the last post of the thread. My favorites are the art and music ones.

A couple of years ago, Carol and I did a Paint and Sip. I didn't sip much and was not happy with the finished painting. A couple of weeks ago I decided not to let the canvas go to waste...
