It’s only November and I’m already sick of winter….

We got about a foot in Madison, but that's OK. The last three winters have been really wimpy so I'm not going to complain now.

Snow arrived today. Our new dog looked out the door, immediately turned around, and walked away. She’s from Texas so I don’t blame her. On the up side, she’ll never demand a walk in a blizzard.

Drive to work this morning was shit. Ride home was better but, still shit. Didn't snow, just blowing what's already there. Tonight, good chance of snow or, maybe freezing rain. Tomorrow ,at 6 am, temp will be 3. Not that they would bother plowing and salting but, if they did, too cold for salt to work.

I’m glad I don’t have to deal with snow removal every day. But, I did work outside in weather like this every winter for a decade.

No snow yet but this late fall/early winter sucks so far.
We had like 2 weeks of pleasant weather between hot humid as hell to clouds, drizzle, and freezing my butt off.
Just enough constant drizzle, cloud cover, and north wind to keep everything wet and cold as fk and light up my arthritic joints like they are on fire.
I broke out the long John’s before Thanksgiving which is pretty much unheard of.
Feel like this winters gonna be a long one.

I’m lucky in winter. My PA is the opposite of RA. Cold makes my PA feel better. Extreme heat can cause a flare up.

Lately I’ve been running around in my gym clothes half the day. It just isn’t cold enough to justify putting on real clothes. But no snow means it’s going to be a very dry year; hopefully my neighborhood won’t burn down.

We are having a warm week out here. My 37 month shorts wearing streak is intact.

The last time I had snow that deep it clogged my electric snowblower and I had to clear it out with a shovel. Which is why we bought a house with a five foot driveway.
