The Pretenders
The Who
Rough Trade
Matchbox
Gang Of Four
Ramones (twice)
Joy Division
Bill Bruford
Muddy Waters, BB King, John Hammond, Johnny Lee Hooker

I was 8 months old, but today, Pretenders, Ramones, Selectors, and probably The Whooo and Joy Division. Oh, and def the Montreal Blues Fest.

I'd probably be camped out at the Edge most nights, but I'd get out for some of those other acts, like The Who (saw them in 89), the Ramones, the Selectors, and the Pretenders. Not to mention that Blues Fest.

Battered Wives. Just to see what kind of people gave a band that name. I know that Canadians are, as a rule, monsters, but those must have been some especially awful Canucks.

The Pretenders
Blues Fest...initially picked Gentle Giant, but I'd miss most folks to see Muddy Waters and John Lee. Saw Hammond 4x and love him. Would also appreciate BB King.
Joy Division, but Ian didn't make it to this tour, so neither did the band.
I'd go see Bruford, but his date is in June...

Yeah. It was an unfortunate choice for a name.
I heard way back when that the intent was to be a band that was against the problem rather than for it.
Tough band, fighting back, sort of thing… but there are no women in the group. So, the idea fell on it’s face.

They did change the name to The Wives, but the damage was done… and they didn’t change the band logo.

I might have the first album. I know my brother brought it home and there are some good tunes on it.
Daredevil is a good one.

Well that's a layup cause IIRC it was the first of the many final concerts for THE WHO and I saw it.
Other than that I would take in no particular order
The Pretenders
Rough Trade
Teenage Head
The Ramones
and the Montreal Blues festival
But being a college student with no car (and not a lot of $$) it would have been a stretch

Free rides and free tickets, but you’re chipping in for gas to Montreal.
