Is it because so many folks here are Foo Fighter fans

There is one reason I don't think they will get over exposed. Dave is a cool mother f-er. If you look at bands that get over exposed, it always looks as though people think that someone in the band is a dick, for example, Bono. I think Dave comes across as someone who really appreciates the music and his fans. I mean what other rock star goes to another bands show and is out in the crowd rocking with everyone else just like a regular fan.

I hope to attend next year and make my aim playing as much as possible on the more simple rock stuff, and requiring earplugs for at least some of that time. Hoping to contribute to a good vibe.

I am just hoping that it doesn't coincide with any business/family trips that come up.

I hope you make it. I think we probably know a bunch of the same songs.

I hope it works out too. You and I are familiar with many of the same tunes, I am sure. But I personally will need to bone up a bit on a song list prior to attending. I do a lot better if I have familiarized myself with stuff first. I am sure that will not be a big deal.

Each year I always plan on learning some tunes for it, but I never do. I just wait for telecaster911 to tell me, G-C-D

Every says that Chad. Prior to the Pragestock event a list is built but when everyone gets there it becomes a free for all. The two years that I attended Monkey Fucken Wrench and The Trooper were staples. I guess that got diverted this time according to Prages. If SVL and you come next year it would be cool to hear what you guys come up with. Especially since Eloydrummerboy I believe has similar tastes.

This year was definitely more about socializing and less focused on jamming than years past.

I'm not saying that we didn't play a fair amount...we did, probably for at least 6 hours a day, but I think it was about 3-4 PM before we fired up the first amp on Saturday, and we were pretty quiet after about midnight.

Still, I think everyone got a chance to play if they wanted to, and I hope everyone still had a great time. The Trooper didn't get played just because we didn't get the full cast of characters together at the right time to be coherent enough to get through it.

I don't know either of those tunes. I will learn them just in case. And I have a couple few that I could throw out there that are pretty easy and fun to rock. And I really, really, really want to rock The Runaround's "Chicago" in honor of Jeremy.

Chicago I believe will become a theme now in dedication to our fallen brother.

Speaking for myself...

I played a hell of a lot more than I expected to...my hand was sore for a few days, testament to how little I've been playing lately...plus " Man in the Box" tore my throat up pretty good...

All of that being said, Pragestock 2014 was the best time I have had in years, and Pragestock 2015 cannot get here soon enough...

and I am seeing a lot of stuff, or are they risking over-exposure? It seems you can, perhaps, be too much in the public eye. They seem to be a great band, and Dave Grohl seems a nice guy, but will they start being celebs and lose some of their edge? Just wondering. What do you think?

They're big, but I don't think that MWGL awareness is representative of their fandom. It's like "5 million people on Facebook like this thing that Dave Grohl said", but they're 1/10th as big as Kanye.

I'm not sure Kanye would sell out 2 nights in a row at Wembley Stadium.
