INCOMING: Danelectro Baritone

It said “delivery attempted” which is bullshit since I was home all day. Looks like it actually got delivered today.
That's been happening to me lately too...especially with Amazon deliveries. Not so much "delivery attempted", but delivery delays...even with Prime.

It feels kinda cheap. I know that is kind of Danelectro’s thing but still. The few Jerry Jones guitars I owned were like night and day. I will keep my eyes open for one of those I think.
Do you have any guitar bodies lying around? Warmoth makes a baritone conversion neck...

I hope you like spending money. JJ's are through the roof and more rare now than ever before. I think he's been retired for 10 years now.

What Dano Baritones may lack on "great action", they make up for it with added vibe/presence. I own a Danelectro 63 Baritone. They also tend to be a bit of a shorter scale baritone than some other makes. Some makes are as much as 2" longer.

Some folks like Baritones for "Doom" tones; me, I'm interested in them for Spaghetti Western tones, Witchita Lineman tones, etc. For me they are kind of like 12 strings, I like their tones but rarely pull them out to "wrassel" with them, but would probably always want to have at least one in the herd.

Very nice, and I love mine, except my eldest has it all the time. I did replace it with a Fender Telecaster Baritone because I mostly do session work and used it for low metal stuff and was tired of standing on one leg, facing Mecca (Abbey Road in London), wearing a tinfoil hat and playing it flat across my other leg to get rid of the lipstick pick-up hum.
