A small piece of advice: With the experience of 36 years, 6 months and 14 days of marriage, I can tell you the secret of a happy marriage: low expectations. Sounds silly, but there really is some wisdom there...

I always say the secret is "Yes, dear." Works for me.



Congrats on the wedding. I've been at it 30 years now. Best move I ever made.
My only advice: Don't leave a bunch of kids without a dad later on. Life is hard enough.

I bumped into an exes parents yesterday. THAT would have been a clusterfuck if I'd proposed to her which I had intended to do.
