Another win.

I did the thing again where I enter the free draw and opt for the prize boost by purchasing entries to another contest.

They have an instant win contest going now, so I threw 10 British pounds on that and got an email a few seconds later saying that I won this.

How many of these contests have you won at this point?
This will be the 4th guitar.
I’ve won 3 pedals and a bunch of store credit.
One of those pedal wins, I took cash instead.

Edit: it’s a bit funny that a few years ago I was thinking of selling off everything and maybe keeping a cheap acoustic to plunk around on. Then, I won the REVV G120 amp and that got me going again with more playing,,, guitar and contests

Dang... The Revstars are sick guitars!

Am I eligible for these contests in the Disjointed States of Bald Eagles? I am in the Principality of Spandex and Aquanet, if that makes any difference.

I believe so.

You are responsible for any duty and taxes, but they ship for free.

The most that I have paid is about $180-ish CDN.

How does one enter these contests?

There is a free draw for a guitar every month. You have to specially join the club, but that’s free too.
There are free draws 4 days a week for store credit. Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. If you buy an entry in another draw at the same time as the free entry, there is a boost to the free prize. The boost varies.

Store credit can be used to buy tickets.

Purchased tickets can range anywhere from £0.39 to £9.99. As far as I’ve seen so far.
The price will vary based on the value of the prize OR the odds in terms of the total number of possible tickets. It’s capped at a number.
And they also post how many tickets have actually been sold. So, you know your odds when you buy.
They draw no matter how many tickets get sold. So, the odds can be stupidly good in your favour.

Proceeds go to fund a guitar museum.

They do draws live on YouTube and there’s always a bit of jamming with the guitars.
I think all of the guitars are used.
The original premise of the draws and the channel was to do a video of them doing the setup and cleanup of the used guitar, then raffling off the end result - or something along those lines. It has evolved to what it is now.
All of this is run by people from Crimson Guitars.
