I need a small cargo vehicle

Yeah, I actually just now finished negotiating my new deal. I start on Sept. 9. I gotta get the car.

The Nissan is definitely butt ass ugly and only has two seats. It's out.
The Element is looking good right now.

I drove a transit connect. Definitely not a racer but its not as gutless as I feared. It actually drives pretty nice and has lots more room than the Element.
God, it's ugly, though.

And not even nerd cool ugly like the Element. Just plain ugly.

But, it does have power windows, locks an mirrors. Glass all the way around and a flip an fold rear bench seat. Even with the back set in place, there's enough room for a power chair. Pretty nice electronics package with Microsoft Sync in it.

I drive the TranitDefect for work...they are severely underpowered so you have to learn to keep the revs up and use the O/D lockout effectively...but they are good on gas, pretty good ride and very durable...

We have an element. It kills my back. 3 hours is the farthest I've been able to ride in it ever.

I have three friends who own elements and love them... I have a hard time driving them beyond short trips. Same with my wife's Honda fit. There's something about the pedal box/seat ergos that just don't work for me.

I drive a Kia R0nd0 and it's fantastic for hauling gear around. V6 so it can definitely handle heavy loads. Unfortunately it didn't sell well in the US, so they stopped making the US version a few years back (everywhere else in the world still has them). I think the closest equivalent is either the Sorento or Sportage.

Durable is good.
Anybody make a turbo for it?

Not tall enough. Need a minimum 40" through the back door and a flat load surface. The Element is the only compact SUV that'll even come close but I suspect the homely Transit is gonna be the winner. It really has everything I need (except power.)

can i custom paint it for you? how bout nekkid women graphics? you could get several nekkid women on a transit

I found a guy's thread on a transit connect forum. Anyway, he was RSWerks guinea pig for adapting the Focus turbo kit. Supposedly a transmission cooler is recommended as well. It's putting 200 HP to the ground now. He's turning that one into a limo. Leather seats , lowered suspension, bar, the works.

Nissan NV200. Haven't seen one yet but there's no back seat at all. Basically the nissan version of the transit. These will be the exclusive taxi of NYC next year.

Sorry, I know nothing about vans, that you can't fit carpet into.

That's fucked up. No back seats in a taxi.
