I say go but go for teh Chicken (not the chicken sammy) AND the Green Beans and Biscuit....

BUT be aware of your surroundings, keep an eye wide open (not quite as wide as Bernnie's though) and stay strong bro !

Go, why not? Their chicken is good. I like the red beans and rice too. Just don't expect to get one of their chicken sandwiches unless you BYOB.

They don't have the chicken sandwiches back yet?? Who's blunder was that? Someone at corp needs to get fired.

By the way, we have this in LA (Silverlake) at Alimento. Best chicken sandwich I've ever had. But you have to get reservations and sit at a table to get it.

I would opt for a good fish and chips place for shrimp and fried fish over Popeyes. One that has good clam chowder too. Maybe Popeyes if it's a late night drive thru situation.

Speaking of Popeyes, do you ever see a band with a few people and one guy always pulls a 'Wimpy?' "I'd gladly pay you Tuesday for a burger today".

But if you’re into New Orleans creole food, it’s the only place you can get authentic red beans and rice. Their recipe is from a famous NO chef.

I love cajun food. I had no idea Popeyes was a respected place to eat. I've only had it once. I assumed it was a fast food place like KFC.
