I know you hate it but THIS IS THE WEIN NFL THREAD...'25-'26

Did not expect the Bears to win yesterday, just too many starters out. Rodgers ended up not playing, Mason Rudolf looked not horrible, maybe because, so many second and third string Bears.

Was wondering if it was a tip of the cap or, a jab at Rodgers each time Caleb took advantage of a free play because, I've watched Rodgers do that way too many times over the years.

These Bears aren’t exactly good, but they’re frisky. They win, which seems like about as much as you can ask for in a year when the entire league is somewhere between “meh” and “hot garbage.” Those backups played pretty damn good for backups. Williams isn’t nearly good enough yet, but he makes clutch plays when needed and doesn’t seem to fall apart under pressure when he does something dumb and has to go right back out there. I don’t hate this team which is sort of a strange feeling considering how loathsome the Bears have been for so long.

So hey.....The Rams might be the best team.
When the Rams play their best game, I think they are the best team. However, they've been beaten twice, so they are not always the best team. The Rams are mostly the best team in the NFL. On game day, the team that wins is the best that day.

Cowboys 31 vs Chiefs 28 was a great game. I was hanging on every play.

The Chiefs have been a dominant team for years. Patrick Mahomes has made the playoffs every season since becoming the starting QB. They had their time. This defeat took them a step farther outside the playoff picture. AFAIC the Chiefs, and Mahomes, can miss the playoffs this season.

Thanks! It was a fun game to watch. Still, I'm a little torn since I want Zac Taylor and Duke Tobin fired, and if they keep winning their jobs will be safe.
Joe is currently the all-time NFL completion percentage leader. They definitely need more talent around him.

This list has some bad/mediocre QBs on it, though.
That might not be the tell tale statistic for being great. No Brady, Montana, Elway, or Marino.
Joe 'The Donkey' Burrow is definitely a top tier quarterback though. They need to protect him.
