This was will known fact growing up, although my neck of the woods did not have a Bojangles restaurant. I just pictured it like Howard Johnson's.

Did you know that the band, the Bangles were originally planning to call themselves the Bojangles? But, one of the girls is allergic to Orange Juice, and they all hate OJ Simpson, so they removed OJ from Bojangles and they became the Bangles.
