That's fine if your instrument has electronics. For much of the time mine did not. I do have a strict personal rule that I will not do a show with a tuner or capo clipped to my headstock. That is my own thing and is not a judgement on those who do this.

When Les Paul had his elbow crushed in an auto accident, they set it in permanent guitar playing position. Surely you can save that with a bit of epoxy.
