Mojo Request I is sad...

that happened to my red one a while ago. I had to wedge it in to get it to work, but the battery died yesterday, so I guess I'll be trashing mine.

Same thing happened to mine last weekend.
I have a pedal but these are sure handy. Probably look for a different one. Foo found one that's very tiny. May look into one of those.

Bummer.

Mojo.

Must be something in the air this weekend. When I went to unload the car after band practice last night, I found my mic stand had somehow broken in transit. No clue why or how since it was on top of everything else. Anyway, the diecast piece that attaches the boom arm at swivel just snapped in two. Damn Proline junk.

You'll never manage to re-glue the little tab and preserve the working ball and socket joint - too little surface area for the glue. I say just slap a big ol glob of epoxy in there, and set it to some workable (non-adjustable) angle.

Might not be quite as good as new, but it should work.

And I wouldn't be suprised if it has a little quicker response time - a solid joint should transfer vibrations to the tuner head better than the ball and socket. (which only has one little ring of contact surface)
