Other than his uncanny stage presence, I knew I liked Prages !

My wife and I are Divers as well. We haven't had much luck getting into the local scene in Cali, of course her being pregnant didn't help since she's my "buddy".

I am trying to find time out here with access to the ocean and all, to get Nitrox certified.

We just got our Nitrox certs about two years ago. If you haven't already, I'd get your advanced open water before the Nitrox. Or if you can afford it, do them close together. There's no diving requirement for Nitrox...just some book work.

Honestly, the biggest benefit I see with Nitrox is that your surface intervals can be shorter if you're doing multiple dives. We've gotten a lot more use out of our advanced open water certs than we have out of our Nitrox certs.

With us the dogs are pretty much everything anyway, so I'm guessing there just isn't going to be a divorce. I'm thinking it's going to be more like in Funny Farm where yellow dog keeps bringing in bones from the former owner of the house, we just have to decide which of us going to be taking the bones and rehiding them and which of us is going to be the bones. biggrin
