Very sorry and Mojo. She looks like a sweet dog who was well cared for. The most loving thing and also the hardest thing is to do what's right. It is selfish to prolong their pain as much as it hurts you. I've gone through it twice now and I'll do it again and again because the short time they are with us is worth it all imo . I think if they did live as long as humans the bond would not be the same, we'd take them for granted like we do people. Dogs teach us so much.....You're her world and she knows you always have her best interest in mind. I think if dogs could talk they would say at moments like this "I've always loved you and I know you've always loved me, thank you for taking care of me always and now"

My condolences for your loss :(She's gone. Thank you for the kind words. Doctor said the paralysis on her left side put her in danger of choking while eating. She also had a heart murmur and Cushings disease.
I know we did the right thing. I am not looking forward to telling my kids tonight.
