I like this way better than their other stuff.

Yeah that is awesome. I nearly killed myself trying to turn on @jelloman 's TC pedals in the barn. They were on the back row and those pedals are thinner than most. It's the main reason I went to the Metro 24, to prevent me from putting pedals in the back.

That is part of what I like about those. You can start with 1, and attach another as your board grows.

So what case are you going to use it with?

Also, when you get it, can you tell me how deep that first level is? I want to make sure I can fit the Octaswitch on it.

I don’t need a case. My board leaves the house twice a year and occasionally goes across the street to my neighbors.

I know a guy with the orig standard wood board from them and he digs it....though, it never leaves his house as he gigs with a POD xt pretty much exclusively.

I like the idea of the modularity of this new model but the price is a little steep, IMO. Then again, I’m cheap when it comes to boards. What are they doing for case options?

I don’t think it’s pricey. It’s 13” wide with 2 rows so 26” of pedal space. The Pedaltrain Metro 24 is also $100 but it comes with a bag. The Metro is very limiting with power options though and is 24” long. And with this, you can easily expand your board. I guess if you find the Pedaltrain stuff pricey, then, this is as well, but I think it’s price point is within reason of its competitors.

I keep coming back and looking at this. I built my board myself out of wood and it certainly does the intended job but I really like the idea of zip ties over velcro.
I don't do a lot of pedal rearranging so it would be ideal.

I think it's a little pricey for what it is......which of course has nothing to do with what it sells for.

It's a relative thing...

My board, the Gator Pro, sells for 150.00 including gig bag (when it's not the SDOTD, that is)...it's not a 2 level board or modular...2 Zigs would be roughly the same size, or a bit larger, and cost 200.00...

Were I tempted to switch over to one ( @Chad near death experience excluded) I'd need 2 Zigs and a Zag, costing 250.00...pricey, yes, but not out of line compared to what I have now...

I think the one issue I have with the Holeyboard...and maybe it;s a non-issue...is the size and spacing of the holes. With a traditional pedalboard I can get pedals all the way to the edge or space them closer together or further according to taste. But the large holes in the Holeyboard, and their spacing, seem to create a large amount of negative space.

But I have not used one, like I said, maybe it's a non-issue.
