MS. I have decided to take on the Mods! Going to add the expression switch as well. Question...how did you get the labels off?

Heated up with a heat gun just enough and lifted using a flat blade screwdriver. Work slowly as you don't want to bend the label or tweak it much. If you are going to repaint, use the stripper in my thread. I got it at Walmart and use gloves and an old toothbrush. To put the label back on, I used 3M spray adhesive can't remember if it was 77 or 90 as I have them both.
 
I finished the volume drop and tone suck mod on my DL-4...it was very stressful!!!!! I may skip it on the mm4 and just put a preamp pedal my loop with the MM4...I nearly wrecked the DL-4
 
Yeah...my fault though...I didn't take any practice swings before I stepped up! I was a bit shakey....haven't soldered anything in years! I am getting practice now though making a bunch of patch cables. I am going to paint this weekend...I am thinking shoreline gold for the DL-4 and Red Glitter for the MM-4
